Argol Essenza Balsamica, liquid, 8 ml, spray

Argol Essenza Balsamica is a traditional medicine developed based on the Carmelite Essence used by the monks of the Carmelite order. The medicine has been used for many decades.

The use of Argol Essenza Balsamica is based on long-term use and experience. In vitro antimicrobial activity studies have shown bactericidal and fungicidal effects of the drug against the most common pathogens of the upper respiratory tract, throat, mouth and digestive tract . Studies have also shown analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of Argol Essenza Balsamica. Scientific opinions and clinical observations indicate that the use of the drug was beneficial in the above indications.

Spray: for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, throat, larynx, angina, irritation of the vocal cords, cough, hoarseness, breathing difficulties, inflammation of the oral cavity, catarrhal gingivitis, recurrent aphthae, periodontal disease, periodontal disease, unpleasant odor from the mouth (e.g. in smokers), irritation of the skin and mucous membranes after insect bites.

The pocket-sized spray packaging allows you to use the preparation at work or while traveling, when it is not possible to use the preparation in drops.

Liquid composition per 100 g:

Menthol (Mentholum) 1,500 g

Lemon balm oil (Melissae officinalis aetheroleum) 0.340 g

Chinese cinnamon oil (Cinnamomi cassiae aetheroleum) 0.465 g

Clove oil (Caryophylli floris aetheroleum) 0.290 g

Lemon oil (Limonis aetheroleum) 0.290 g

Nutmeg oil (Myristicae fragrantis aetheroleum) 0.260 g

Common thyme oil (Thymi aetheroleum) 0.240 g

Coriander seed oil (Coriandri aetheroleum) 0.240 g

Peppermint oil (Menthae piperitae aetheroleum) 0.375 g

Excipients:

Ethanol 96% v/v, purified water, sodium saccharin (taste corrector)

The medicine contains 57 – 63% ethanol

Spray to be used in the oral cavity or on the skin. Apply the medicine from a distance of about 2-3 cm from the site of the lesion, pain or itching. If necessary, you can repeat the application up to 2-3 times a day.

After using Argol Essenza Balsamica, you should refrain from eating or drinking for at least half an hour.

Due to the lack of data and ethanol content, the drug is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

Argol Essenza Balsamica should not be used:

• in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug
• for burns, open wounds and acute skin inflammations
• on the mucous membranes in patients diagnosed with atrophic conditions of the oral mucosa.

Do not apply the medicine to the nasal mucosa. Do not apply the medicine around the eyes.

If the preparation gets into the eye, rinse the eye with water.

The medicine contains 60% ethanol (alcohol). The recommended oral dose of the medicine in the amount of 10-15 drops contains on average 0.37 g of ethyl alcohol, which is equivalent to 5.8 ml – 8.7 ml of beer (5% v/v) or 2.4 ml – 3.6 ml of wine (12% v/v) per dose.

Due to the ethanol content, oral use is not recommended in people with liver disease (cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, severe liver damage), gastric and duodenal ulcers and in people addicted to alcohol.
