Acatar Control aerosol reduces swelling of the inflamed nasal mucosa and inhibits excessive production of secretions.
This leads to nasal congestion, facilitates nasal breathing, and reduces runny nose. Reducing nasal congestion also causes the paranasal sinuses to dilate and open, and unblocks the auditory tubes.
Acatar Control aerosol helps remove secretions and cure bacterial infection. The drug starts working within a few seconds after administration and lasts up to 12 hours.
The active substance of Acatar Control is oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa.
