Hascosept, sore throat medicine, spray, 30 g

Hascosept is a spray for sore throats for children and adults. It works not only on symptoms, but also on all causes of sore throats in the course of upper respiratory tract infections. It treats symptoms (pain, swelling, redness) of throat inflammations and combats their causes (viruses, bacteria and fungi). The active substance of the drug is benzydamine – a substance widely studied in clinical trials, with a well-established position in the treatment of inflammations of the mouth and throat – used for almost 60 years.

Convenient, mobile applicator makes it easy to administer the medicine to small children. The medicine has a pleasant mint flavor.

Hascosept spray can be used in children under 6 years of age, adolescents and adults. There are no time limits for its use.

The product can be used by diabetics. It does not contain sugar.

Hascosept aerosol is indicated for the local treatment of ailments and symptoms (pain, redness, swelling) associated with inflammatory conditions of the oral cavity and throat in bacterial and viral infections, also after surgical procedures in otolaryngology and dentistry.

The medicine is intended for local administration.

1 g of solution contains 1.5 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and excipients: patent blue (E 131), quinoline yellow (E 104), mint flavour, glycerol, ethanol 96%, saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, polysorbate 20, purified water.

Pharmaceutical form: solution for use in the oral cavity.

The medicine is intended for use on the oral mucosa.

How to use the applicator:

Turn the applicator tip to a horizontal position. Then place the applicator in your mouth, point the nozzle towards the inflammation and press the button firmly. Before first use, press the pump button several times to achieve proper spraying.

Dosage:

• Children under 6 years: 1 dose of the drug per 4 kg of body weight (each dose contains 0.14 ml of solution), 2 to 6 times a day. Regardless of body weight, do not exceed 4 doses at a time.
• Children from 6 to 12 years of age: 4 doses of the medicine, 2 to 6 times a day.
• Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 4 to 8 doses of the drug 2 to 6 times a day.

Do not use more than the recommended dose.
