Ibum Express Forte contains ibuprofen – a substance from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which have analgesic , antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects .
Indications
Indications for use:
- pain of various origins of mild to moderate intensity:
- headaches (including migraines),
- toothache,
- muscle, joint and bone pain,
- pain after injuries,
- neuralgia,
- pain associated with colds and flu.
- painful menstruation.
- feverish conditions of various origins (including influenza, colds or other infectious diseases).

Composition
1 capsule contains: | 400mg ibuprofen |
Other ingredients (excipients) are: macrogol 400, potassium hydroxide 50%, gelatin, liquid, partially dehydrated sorbitol, quinoline yellow (E 104), patent blue (E 131). |
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine is for short-term oral use. The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: starting dose 1 capsule (400 mg). If necessary, take 1 capsule every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 1200 mg (3 capsules) per day in divided doses.
Elderly: no dosage adjustment is required.
The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest possible period. This reduces the risk of side effects.
You should seek medical advice if you need to take this medicine for more than 3 days or if your symptoms get worse.
Contraindications
When not to use Ibum Express Forte:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- in patients with active or recurrent gastric and/or duodenal ulcer, perforation or bleeding, including after NSAID use,
- in patients who experienced any allergy symptoms such as runny nose, hives, shortness of breath or bronchial asthma during treatment with acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs,
- if you are taking other NSAIDs (including COX-2 inhibitors such as celecoxib or etoricoxib),
- if you have severe liver, kidney or heart failure,
- if you have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular bleeding) or other bleeding,
- if you have a blood clotting disorder, a haemorrhagic diathesis (tendency to bleed) or a blood formation disorder of unknown origin,
- in dehydrated patients (dehydration caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake),
- in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
