Paracetamol Synoptis, 500 mg, 50 tablets

Paracetamol Synoptis contains paracetamol as an active substance, which belongs to a group of painkillers called analgesics. Paracetamol Synoptis is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and to lower fever.

• in flu-like symptoms,
• fever (lasting less than 3 days),
• severe reactions following vaccination (hyperergic reactions),
• mild to moderate headaches,
• mild to moderate migraines in patients with diagnosed migraine,
• mild to moderate toothache,
• mild to moderate earache,
• mild to moderate menstrual pain,
• mild to moderate post-traumatic, muscle and joint pain.

If after 3 days there is no improvement or the patient feels worse, contact your doctor.

The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol.

The other ingredients are: povidone K30, pregelatinized corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), stearic acid (type 50).

The recommended dose depends on age and body weight. Paracetamol Synoptis is intended for oral use in adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over.

The intervals between doses should be 6 to 8 hours. If necessary, the intervals may be at least 4 hours. The dose of 6 tablets per day should not be exceeded.

Maximum daily dose of Paracetamol Synoptis:

The maximum daily dose of paracetamol should not exceed 3 g per day. Paracetamol (acetaminophen) is a common ingredient in many combination medicinal products. This should be taken into account to avoid exceeding the maximum daily dose of paracetamol.
Duration of treatment:

Do not take Paracetamol Synoptis in large doses unless otherwise instructed.
If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 3 days, consult a doctor.

Method and route of administration of Paracetamol Synoptis 500 mg:

Paracetamol Synoptis should be administered orally. The tablets can be taken whole or crushed and mixed with water.
Taking after a meal may delay the effect.

Paracetamol Synoptis with food and drink:

You should not drink alcohol while taking Paracetamol Synoptis. Alcohol can increase the toxic effects of paracetamol on the liver.

Paracetamol Synoptis is not recommended for children under 12 years of age and weighing less than 40 kg due to the amount of paracetamol. There are other strengths and forms of paracetamol more suitable for this group of patients.

• if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
• if you have severe liver failure,
• if the patient is under 12 years old,
• if you are taking other medicines containing paracetamol.
