Irigasin, refill set, 30 sachets

The Irigasin medical device is intended for the preparation of a solution for rinsing the sinuses and nose from retained secretions, bacteria, viruses and allergens. Irigasin allows the preparation of both isotonic and hypertonic solutions, depending on the patient’s needs. The set consists of 30 sachets with powder for preparing the solution.

• acute or chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses,
• rhinitis due to infection or allergy,
• before and after nose and sinus surgery,
• after contact with high concentrations of dust in the air,

• Isotonic sodium chloride solution cleanses the nasal cavities of accumulated secretions, bacteria, viruses and allergens, and also cares for the nose and sinuses.
• Hypertonic sodium chloride solution, in addition to its cleansing effect, due to the higher concentration of the active substance, has osmotic properties, thanks to which it reduces mucosal swelling.

Sodium chloride solution

• To prepare an isotonic solution, pour 1 sachet of powder into the bottle and then fill it up to the marked line (240 ml) with boiled, cooled water.
  To prepare a hypertonic solution, pour 2 sachets of powder into the bottle and then fill it up to the marked line (240 ml) with boiled, cooled water.
• Close the bottle tightly, cover the hole in the cap with your finger and shake until the substance is completely dissolved
• stand slightly tilted over the sink. Place the tip of the bottle against one of your nostrils
• squeeze the bottle in a smooth motion so that the solution enters the nose. Breathe calmly through your mouth and the solution will exit through the other nostril. Do not swallow the solution if it enters the throat. Repeat for the other nostril
• After rinsing, gently blow your nose
• Pour away any unused solution and wash and dry the bottle and cap thoroughly (do not wash the irrigator in a dishwasher or with irritating detergents)

Adults and children over 4 years of age: nasal and sinus rinsing should be performed 1-2 times a day or as directed by a physician.

• Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to sodium chloride.
• Do not use if your nose is completely blocked and the solution cannot escape.
• Do not use if you have an infection or feeling of ear blockage.

• Children may only use the product under adult supervision.
• The possibility of use in children under 4 years of age should be consulted with a doctor.
• Do not use later than one hour before bedtime.
