VIAGRA CONNECT MAX 50 mg, 4 coated tablets

V IAGRA CONNECT MAX contains the active substance sildenafil, which belongs to a group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5 inhibitors). The medicine works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow to it during sexual arousal and causing an erection.

VIAGRA CONNECT MAX helps achieve an erection only if you are sexually stimulated.

VIAGRA CONNECT MAX is used to treat erectile dysfunction in men over the age of 18.
Erectile dysfunction (also known as impotence) is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection (erection) of the penis that would allow satisfactory sexual activity. The occurrence of an erection depends on many different factors, including the proper flow of blood to the penis. Reduced blood flow to the penis can cause erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction can manifest itself differently in each man. Some have trouble achieving an erection. Others achieve an erection, but it is not strong enough to have sex, or the erection disappears before or during intercourse.

The active substance is sildenafil. Each tablet contains 50 mg of sildenafil (as citrate). 

The other ingredients are: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, croscarmellose sodium and magnesium stearate. Tablet coating: hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E171), triacetin and indigo carmine (E132).

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you or as described in the package leaflet. If you are not sure, ask your pharmacist or doctor.

• Take 1 tablet as needed, approximately one hour before sexual activity.
• The tablet should be swallowed whole with some water.
• Do not take more than 1 tablet per day.

VIAGRA CONNECT MAX will only help you achieve an erection if you are sexually aroused. The actual sexual activity should be preceded by foreplay, which is exactly the same as if you were not taking the erectile dysfunction medication.
The time it takes for the medication to start working varies from person to person, but it is usually between 30 and 60 minutes. You can take the medication up to 4 hours before you plan to have sex.
Remember to relax and be patient. If VIAGRA CONNECT MAX does not help you on your first try, you should keep trying, remembering that you can only take 1 tablet in 24 hours unless your doctor tells you otherwise. For most men, VIAGRA CONNECT MAX works on the first or second try. If it has been a while since you were able to get and keep an erection, it may take a few tries before you get the desired effect. If you have taken VIAGRA CONNECT MAX and still do not get or maintain an erection, you should talk to your doctor about it.
If you feel that the effect of VIAGRA CONNECT MAX is too strong, talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

• If the patient does not have erection problems, because this medicine will not have any beneficial effect
• if you are taking medicines called nitrates to relieve chest pain or treat heart failure
• if you are taking riociguat (or other guanylate cyclase stimulators) used to treat high blood pressure in the lungs
• if you are taking ritonavir, a drug used to treat HIV infection
• If your doctor has told you to avoid sexual activity, for example because of heart or blood vessel problems
• if you have a severe heart disease, such as: a recent heart attack or stroke (in the last 6 months), unstable angina (chest pain) or severe heart failure (reduced ability of the heart to pump blood)
• if you have severe liver disease
• if you have low blood pressure (below 90/50 mmHg), which can cause tiredness, dizziness, light-headedness, clammy skin, depression, loss of concentration, blurred vision
• if you have ever had serious vision loss due to damage to the optic nerve, such as anterior ischemic optic neuropathy, or if you have an inherited eye disease such as retinitis pigmentosa
• if the patient has an anatomical deformation of the penis
• in the case of women
• if the patient is under 18 years of age
• if you are allergic to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
